The Fairbrothers really got into decorating this year, with a pine-bough arch, and an expandable paper bell hanging over the tree. Leather and knits mittens and scarf are strung between.

Gifts and fruit at the bottom are all but lost in the shadows, but we do see a wood sled with metal runners (left). Someone got a hairbrush, and there are a few more china dishes.

The books are Black Beauty, Jack & the Beanstalk, Boy Trappers, and Frank on the Prairie.There is one book (lower right) whose cover suggests a series for girls.
